What is a diecast model?
Diecast is a hobby industry term referring to a model made with a metal body.
A diecast model is a collectible model made with a metal body, usually from a zinc alloy. Diecast does not mean the entire model is metal—some parts may be plastic or rubber.
What does scale mean and how big is each scale?
Scale shows how much smaller the model is compared to the real vehicle.
For example, a 1:18 model is one-eighteenth the size of the real car. Think of it this way: if you were to divide a vehicle into 18 pieces, one piece would be the same length as the 1:18 scale model.
Approximate sizes:
1:64→ ~3 inches
1:32→ ~4–5 inches
1:24→ ~7–8 inches
1:18→ ~10–12 inches
1:12→ ~13–15 inches

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
We also accept PayPal.
Can I use a coupon code?
Yes. Enter your coupon code during checkout in the coupon box. Some coupons are applied automatically as well.
How do I use a coupon?
Once you've added items to your cart, click the "Cart" link at the top of the page to view your cart. Then, click the "Check Out"
button, where you'll find a box to enter your coupon code.
Shipping & Delivery
How fast do you ship orders?
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days if all items are in stock.
When will I receive my order?

What is the $9.95 flat-rate shipping?
You can order as many items as you like and pay $9.95 flat-rate shipping within the 48 continental U.S. states physical addresses.
Which carrier do you use for flat-rate shipping?
We ship via UPS, FedEx or DHL. We can not guarantee which one will be used
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO?
Yes. Orders to these locations are shipped using FedEx, DHL, or UPS.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most international destinations. International shipping costs vary by location and will be shown at checkout.
Do you cover customs duties or import fees?
No. All customs duties, taxes, import fees or any other associated fees are the customer’s responsibility.
Since every country varies for customs information, including any associated fees that may be incurred on your end, it is encouraged and advised to check online or with your local post office before purchasing.
Is a signature required for delivery?
It depends on the price of the item. Some high-value orders may require a signature upon delivery. We kindly suggest you track the shipment and stay at your shipping location during “Out for Delivery.”
Can I change my shipping address?
Yes. We are able to change the shipping address only if the package is not processed for shipment yet.
Can you combine multiple orders to save on shipping?
Yes. If you placed two or more orders through different transactions and would like us to combine the shipping cost, we can combine them and adjust shipping as long as it is not too late and your package is not yet processed or shipped.
Do you offer free shipping?
Free shipping is offered only during special promotions. Please be on the lookout for these specials.
Packaging
Will I receive the exact box shown in photos?
Please note that manufacturers sometimes update packaging and we have no control over it. The box may look different, but the model itself will be exactly the same.
How do you protect items during shipping?
All items are carefully packed with bubble wrap and protective cartons. Fragile packages are clearly marked to help prevent damage.
Pre-Orders
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order item is still in production and not yet immediately available for shipment.
How do pre-orders work?
- Pre-orders reserve your item in advance
- Payment is collected in full at checkout
- Your order ships as soon as the item arrives
- Tracking details are emailed once shipped
What if I order in-stock and pre-order items together?
We can either hold your order and ship it all together once every item is in stock, or we can send the available items right away and ship the remaining items as they become available. In either case, both shipments will be subject to our shipping policy.
How long do pre-orders take?
Estimated arrival dates are listed on the product page. Please refer to the "Expected By" date for each item. These dates are approximate and manufacturers may delay release dates for various reasons, such as production issues, licensing challenges, shipping delays, or low pre-order numbers.
When will my Pre-Orders ship?
All pre-orders will be shipped as soon as they arrive. Some items may experience delays due to circumstances beyond Empire Diecast’s control.
If there are any significant issues or cancellations from the manufacturer, you will be promptly notified and immediately refunded.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. Pre-orders can be cancelled with a 20% cancellation fee.

Order Status
Has my order shipped?
Tracking information is sent by email within 24–48 hours after shipment - excluding holidays. We will email you a tracking number once your order has shipped. Please note that due to the high volume of orders we process, these notifications may be sent on the next business day. You are also welcome to contact us at any time.
